Hello! I'm Imani Lester. I'm a proud Hampton University, Scripps School of Communications Alum, Washington, DC native, and bring over a decade of experience to the industry. With my extensive communications background, I started Top-of-Mind Awareness Public Relations (TOMA-PR) in 2015, with one goal in mind...to build a network that supported black women business owners nationwide. I have represented women entrepreneurs and change-makers across the nation in several professions--ranging from science and technology, arts and entertainment, invention and innovation, health and wellness, etiquette, food and restaurant services, vegan health, real estate, child education, and more.

So what's with the business name you ask? The concept of Top-of-Mind Awareness comes from a public relations tactic used in consumer behavior, marketing research, and marketing communications. It represents how well your brand ranks in the minds of your consumers and helps determine your brand loyalty. My mission with TOMA is to coach and display this powerful theory to women business owners across professional specialties.
